“I’m Julie McGann, and I am a creative photographer and digital artist. I specialize in bringing children’s imagination to life though Illustrative Portraiture. I help families across the globe who want to capture the imagination of their little dreamers to create a keepsake from their imaginary world and remember what it was like to believe in absolutely anything, because those who dream big can achieve big things in life. It’s how I can make their dreams come true one picture at a time.
I am drawn to magical storybook-like photography from reading to my children when they were little. I loved the stories portrayed and how my kids would want to be friends with the characters. In each picture I create, I always includes the child having fun with their dream pet and usually doing something unusual based on the child’s imaginary idea. They have such vivid imaginations when they are little and I just wanted to find a way to capture their adorable thoughts at that moment. I hope to bring smiles to each child’s face when they see their impossible dreams become realities in pictures! I find joy in being the one to document each child’s early fantasies as a keepsake for the entire family.” – Julie McGann
